Dogs usually eat grass to make themselves throw up due to stomach irritation. If your vet completes a physical and fecal exam, intestinal parasites can be omitted. Another thought would be the diet is not agreeing with the dog. Changing the diet is one option and should be discussed with your vet. Simply adding vegetables and increasing fiber content can reduce grass eating. I found a vet that recommends trying Barley grass on the food. This is an all natural product and seems to be effective in decreasing grass consumption.
