Labrador Retriever

Labrador Retrievers are very energetic dogs that love to play and run. This large breed dog is one of America's favorite dog breeds. They are great with families as they love to be the center of attention. They're also commonly used as hunting dogs due to their intelligence and obedience. They are quick learners who love to pick up a new trick or two.

The Labrador Retriever weighs about 50 to 75 pounds and commonly comes in three different colors: Yellow, black, and chocolate. While they may have a very easy-going personality, they do need a lot of exercises. Labrador Retrievers should spend a few hours each day running and playing so that they could stay physically fit and mentally stimulated.

Common Health conditions for Labrador Retrievers

Most Labrador Retrievers are very healthy and hearty dogs but, there are a few health conditions that they are predisposed to, such as:

If you notice that your Labrador is having issues with mobility, it would be best for them to see your vet. These few conditions will need continual medical care and attention for your Labrador to stay healthy and happy.
