Guest Post: Elliot Harvey's Natural Health Column: Many dog owners are familiar with pets getting diarrhea but have less experience with constipation. Dog constipation occurs when there isn't enough fiber or water consumption in the pet's system to adequately eliminate waste products in a timely manner. There can be other factors which we will also discuss.
We receive numerous questions from loving cat owners at Pet Assure each month–and litter box problems are a frequently recurring theme. Recently, one kitty parent asked about issues that might be causing her precious pet to do her duty elsewhere. We did a little research and came up with this list of the five most common reasons cats avoid the litter box.
Snakes and shedding, oh my! While a snake shedding its skin can be impressive, sometimes a poor shedding can indicate a health problem.
My dachshund has slipped 2 discs in her back for the second time and because of her age and condition she is not an ideal candidate for surgery (20% chance it would work). Since she still has the complete use of her front paws, would a dog wheelchair work for her? Pam
